Little's in London...

I love London Style...but then again I am British. This is a nursery in an English version of a brown stone..tall and skinny and usually quite dark as only windows at each end of the room with reasonable distance between each due to the depth of the houses. So darkest navy walls for a kids room had me sceptical BUT I love the result...

I think the reason it still works is that she is in the roof so has light from the side and the room is smaller.. what do you think...would you go black/dark navy for  a room? I have done grey for our 4th but its not that dark...

  1. Love this room - very British. My husband is English and his family are all in Bath, and their kids' rooms are all in the roof, so to speak, and thus have the added benefit and personality of pitched ceilings, timber beams and rustic elements. All add wonderful character to a room, which is especially appealing for kids. I think the use of dark colours like this grey are sensational provided it is paired with lots of white trim or furnishings.
