Choc Chia Cake....

This was so easy to make, super tasty , super moist and well peeps on FB and Insta asked me to share so here I am ..

Ingredients

4 tablespoons chia seeds, soaked in 1 cup of water for 15 minutes.
½ cup raw cocoa
1/2 Cup Olive Oil
5 medium to large eggs
1 cup (175g) almond meal
3/4 Cup Raw sugar, or you could use 3/4 Cup Honey
Pinch salt
1 teaspoon bicarb soda
1/2 cup cranberries and sulatanas

How

Preheat oven to 180C.
Line a spring form cake tin with non-stick baking paper.
Soak chia seeds and fruit in 1 cup of water for 15 minutes, stirring regularly. The seeds will absorb all the water and swell to form a gel.
Place all the ingredients in a bowl.
Whisk to combine well & break up any lumps
Pour into lined cake tin.
Bake in oven for 35-40 minutes or until it a clean skewer comes out from testing

Cool on a wire rack.

  1. I will have to try this one.
Also, I have been meaning to ask you if you have found any good healthy Thermomix websites? I have been eating way to much real cake lately…time to get healthy again!

  2. The beads and bird home beads would look fantastic hanging off the chunky window frame in my kitchen, I love rustic looking nik-knacks and these beads would add such beautiful charm to my kitchen!

  3. I would hang them in my bedroom. My bedroom is my sanctuary and these home beads would be the perfect compliment to an already peaceful calming room

  4. I would hang them on the front door as an all year round welcome to our home

  5. The heart necklace ... it would perfectly compliment a large, very old carved timber frame that I have had for years. Hang the necklace on the wall, centred within the old frame ... an instant statement about love. No words or pictures needed.

  6. I adore the heart, the pot plant and the cross beads, they would look stunning as separate pieces around the home. I would place the heart shape one on my dress manikin in my bedroom, the pot plant on the wall in the lounge and a cross one draped across our coffee table. They are an amazing way to add natural and bohemian look to the Interior.

  12. I LOVE THESE!!! The little pot plant is like nothing I've ever seen before. I would hang it over the front door handle to give people a perfect first impression of our house. I also love the heart design and would hang this over the corner of my bedhead. Beautiful!

  15. I would choose the cross - i would hang it in my hallway alongside all my family photos on the photowall. It would be the something that is missing - the one thing i dont have there to represent a child loved, a child lost, but not forgotten.
