  14. My diamond engagement ring is what sparkles in my life although I'd like to think that in saying this it means much more than how boring an answer this first appears.

The light that flashes through my diamond ring gives it "LIFE" which without it would just look like a boring garden rock. I stare at the flashes of sparkle and shine and feel the "LOVE" it symbolises. The more it sparkles the
more I love it and the more it makes me smile and dance inside.

It sparkles from the inside out! I don't care how well cut or proportioned it is as long as it keeps sparkling because I'm going to be looking at it for the rest of my life. It represents the biggest sparkle in my life my life long best friend, lover, soul
mate and HUSBAND who has just overcome lung cancer.

It is a constant connection to my wonderful family and the love we all share. It's kept me going through some lonely times and I look forward to getting one for my own children one day.
