San Fran to San Diego

So it's just an 8hr drive but we will be taking it slow.. I want to focus on the kids and shared excitement so lots of juvenile behaviour for all is the plan.. and it looks a little like this..

Any places you think we need to see between to the two points? Special places to stay? Hit me!

  1. I loved San Diego. The gaslamp quarter for great restaurants. I really rated SeaWorld too.

  3. Ok, I'm seriously with just adding a printed tea towel as I do love a good quote or image in the kitchen.

  4. I think that the best add- in for a hamper basket is something that cannot be eaten or thrown away with time… something to remember like a teddy bear, decorative jar or mug.

  5. That looks amazing! Those roller coaster are insane! I was obsessed with them as a kid, spent many a time at Australia's wonderland back in the day (flashback). Not sure if I could do them now though...
My mum loved San Diego most out of all the places she went to in the US. She said the people are very similar to Aussies down to earth & the zoos apparently kick butt! Have a blast gorgeous. You so deserve some serious down time. xx

  12. My ultimate add in is some homemade cold pressed soap. Just acquired new skill and everyone loves! Perfect from the heart homegrown too!

  13. A rich fiery tomato chutney. CHEESEily the best way to use up some cheese and the taste drives people CRACKERS!

  14. My ultimate add in is a bottle of bubbly or a beautiful smelling soy candle...both the perfect accompaniment to a relaxing bath!

  15. The hampers are perfect just as they are, all they need are Baby Wipes to clean up any mess at the end of the day!

  16. An indulgent cheese or jam that you wouldn't normally buy for yourself

  17. Themed hampers are the best - and something consumable, something to keep, something pretty and something sweet. Things you might not buy yourself but are super nice. Like a picnic rug or towel, champagne, choccies and cheese board. And yes, totally agree about the nice basket to hold it all. Hampers can be so so good - but there are lots of bad ones around too with things you would never use or eat.
